Peperone Friggitello Italian Sweet Green Chilli seeds - 15 seeds
Friggitello is a sweet Italian chili pepper of the species Capsicum annuum. It is also known as the Golden Greek pepper, Sweet Italian pepper, or Tuscan pepper. Friggitello peppers are mild and have no heat at all, making them a purely sweet pepper variety. They are elongated and have a conical shape and thin waxy skin. In the United States, they may be called "pepperoncini". They are quite distinct from Italian peperoncini, which are hot Italian chili peppers.
Growing
Sow 13mm deep into moist well-drained seed compost. Ideal temp. 21°C. Germination takes 10-14 days. Once germinated grow on in cooler conditions 15-18°C. Plant out once danger of frost has passed, ideally when the plant is 10-15cm tall with 60cm spacing.
